CAR THIEF FOILED BY SUPAGLASS
The attached photos tell an all too familiar story of car crime in the capital, but this week a thief was foiled by Pentagon SupaGlass which had recently been fitted to the truck in question. Despite repeated kicks at the window the thief was unable to completely break it and could not lean in easily and steal from the glove box. The SupaGlass was bonded to the clips on the bottom of the window but due to the severe force whilst being kicked it folded inwards and left no way in for the thief. He was later caught and charged.
The rise in car crime is linked to the rise in use of portable SatNav, cars are targeted for the outline of the stickers on the inside of windscreens. Traffic light muggings are up, dog-napping is on the increase (Bruce Forsyth's family BMW was broken into only weeks ago) - and our children remain at risk. Clear SupaGlass fitted on the interior of side windows reduces the most common car crime. For the protection of children against harmful UV rays and shattered glass, tinted SupaGlass is also available for the rear of the car. General Manager Tom Hardyment says: 'There is no price we can put on peace of mind and the protection of our families and our possessions'.
Pentagon Glass-Tech with its 24 franchises in this country and worldwide is endorsed by government departments, emergency services, VIP's and celebrities, not to mention Big Brother and The House of Tiny Tearaways. Safer, stronger and more secure than ever, Pentagon SupaGlass is at the forefront of crime-busting, protecting our families, our possessions and giving us peace of mind each time we leave the house.
